URGENT VACANCY
ENVIRONMENTAL /SHEQ MANAGER (KZN)
PETROCHEM INDUSTRY (BEE position)

You would be responsible for the overall management including the planning and execution of all major land remediation activities and oversight with regards to land, buildings , waste and water reclamation and new technologies on site. This would entail dealing with all governmental authorities, communities, tenants and plant activities including Acacia compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Matric / Grade 12.
Degree / National Diploma in Environmental Management / Environmental Science / Chemistry / Microbiology / Geohydrology / Appropriate Engineering qualification.
Minimum of 5-7 years environmental management experience from hazardous chemicals manufacturing industry.
Expert knowledge of Part 8 of Waste Act and Acacia regulations.
Petrochemical or hazardous industry experience in land remediation.
Working knowledge of environmental legislation and ISO 14001 standard.
Must have experience in engaging with communities, governmental authorities, tenants and waste management.
Willingness to travel and assist and serve interest worldwide when required.
