OPERATIONS SPECIALIST – Northern West, RUSTENBURG

Lead & manage Site Managers, who in turn must manage their sites in order to produce a food safe portfolio, daily. Manage and achieve the Portfolio Financial Budget. Enforce a hygienic & safe working environment, with compliance to all statutory safety regulations.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:

Grade 12 plus a qualification in management

A sound track record as a manager of a socially and culturally diverse labor force.

Previous Site Management experience on food production contracts /hygiene cleaning is essential.

Minimum 4 years’ experience in the food production industry is an advantage.

Sound knowledge of food equipment cleaning and chemicals is essential

Must have thorough knowledge of third-party audit requirements.

Must be able to manage the strict flow of operations and variable allocation of resources.

Strong operationally with good track record in Industrial Relations.

Strong customer relations skills.

Hours of work are not restricted to normal working hours – must have the ability to work additional hours & be flexible with working hours as requested. – male therefore preferred

Driver’s License and own vehicle is essential.

The incumbent must be willing to travel extensively.

EXEC. HOUSEKEEPER FOR A CONTRACT MANAGER IN THE CLEANING INDUSTRY – DURBAN

Exciting opportunity has become available for a Contract manager to join this fast paced and dynamic company. Responsible for maintaining contract cleaning revenue and operations to run at optimal efficiency and ensure contract retention and client relationships are maintained.

REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 3-5years cleaning Operations and management or Executive Housekeeping experience

Minimum 2-4 years in either hospital or hotel sites

Good customer liaison skills / strong communications skills

Proficiency in Microsoft programmes and preferably Opera

Ability to manage and supervise cleaning personnel and supervisors

Strong written and spoken communication skills is essential

HR / IR experience

KPI’S include:

  • Management of all cleaning contract operations
  • Management of all cleaning capital equipment in the field
  • Experience in training of cleaners
  • Experience maintaining and managing all cleaning chemical and equipment costs and expenditure per site
